Over the past 3 decades, Breakaway Tours has become one of the largest student travel companies taking thousands of travellers annually to destinations across Canada and the Caribbean. Our mission is to provide the best trips to high school students of all backgrounds. Today, we continue to travel to new mountains and cities, creating one of a kind experiences for our travellers.
BRIEF OVERVIEW
This position will operate within our Help Desk Department. We have opportunities for both
part time and full time roles based on the candidate.
As part of the Help Desk team, you will interact with passengers and parents across multiple student travel brands to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. Excellent communication abilities are essential for candidates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Answer inquiries from parents & students regarding payment, insurance, staffing & general trip knowledge
- Process cancellations
- Make outbound phone calls to parents & students to answer any general questions they may have about payment, insurance, cancellation and general trip knowledge
- Assist with tasks such as adjusting rooming and collecting balances
- Assist with internal requests from sales team (cancellations, payments)

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the following is
not required but considered an asset:
- 1-2 years in customer service
- Excellent communication skills, including phone and email communication
- Familiar with CRM software
- 1-2 years in a remote role (can self discipline and meet deadlines)
- Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset
